According to the 16 CFR Part1633, which will take effect July 1, 2007, all the mattresses manufactured or sold in the US market require a 30-minute burn test. The mattress manufactured under this new regulation will add another safety layer to customers, since it can limit the spread and density of the fire and give people more chance to escape from their residence.
Our technical people have been devoted to find the solution for more than 3 months, after trying several kinds of fire retardant materials, we now select the special fire-retardant blanket, which will guard the mattress as “fire-proof wall”, and the mattress will burn slowly and eliminate little smoke and head when it is exposed to open flame.
